National Association of Clinical Tutors

Client: National Association of Clinical Tutors

Year: 2010 – present

Timeframe: 10+ years

Main Service: Microsoft .NET Software Development

Extra Service: Microsoft SQL Server Development, Reporting Services

As an organisation that works for its members, NACT UK needed to be able to record member details and link them to memberships (including renewals), conferences and events. When we first met with NACT UK, this was being done with a Microsoft Access database which was beginning to reach its functional limits. As part of our solution, we migrated the Access database to SQL Server for increased reliability and security and we developed a ClickOnce desktop Windows application to take the organisation to the next level.

Our application enables the team at NACT UK to manage members, memberships and conferences, control user access, export reports and generate membership documents at the click of a button. We provide ongoing technical support for the application which continues to provide an ongoing ROI for NACT UK.

We helped improve the membership management process by designing and building custom CRM software for NACT UK.

  • Conversion of Microsoft Access to fully-featured Windows software.
  • Microsoft .NET Windows desktop application development.
  • Microsoft SQL Server database design and T-SQL development.
  • ClickOnce application which enables automatic updates to be installed remotely.
  • Integration with Microsoft Office for document generation from custom templates.
